Bachelor of Science in Equine Business and Sales
The Equine Business & Sales program at Midway University seeks to prepare students to enter and/or continue their careers in the equine industry. Through academic preparation in theories and methods, students acquire the basis on which to make decisions affecting horse care. Additionally, with focused studies in marketing and business principles related to the equine industry students are prepared for professional positions within the field.
Program Learning Outcomes
- Implement and assess safe, ethical, and sustainable equine management practices utilizing emerging technologies related to the global equine industry.
- Demonstrate awareness of the diversity of the equine industry, and acceptance of this diversity.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge, skills, and work ethic required to be a competent member of the equine industry.
- Utilize knowledge of equine anatomy and physiology to make equine management decisions.
