The minor in Human Resource Management will equip students with the skills and knowledge to enter into the field of Human Resource Management. 

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Describe HRM function and its role supporting organizational strategy;
  • Perform staffing functions such as job analysis, HR planning, recruiting, and talent selection;
  • Structure appropriate and compelling compensation and reward plans that encourage performance and motivate employees; 
  • Describe the impact of corporate culture and atmosphere on downsizing, performing, disciplinary actions, grievances, and termination; 
  • Address legal and safety standards affecting employees.
